King Frog – JonathanPost – (2012) – ITAÚ

Commercial, Python, Rigging

I did this in partnership with JonathanPost, amazing studio! ( http://www.jonathanpost.com/) .

This first rigging was “a bit” quieter than the Bad Wolf Rig, i had just two days to get the 3D model from the Pedro Conti (https://vimeo.com/pedroconti Modeler fantastic and a great friend) and transform the mesh cold and lifeless (huhuhu) in a believable character ..
The proposed on this film was very nice … Make from zero since the real characters always is a challenge.

I used 4 blendshapes made by the modeler and I connected with some controls and Joints to do this facial rigging, of course I had to modeling some others blends also the character to fit the type of rigging that I wanted to do.

With two days of deadline Can not do something very advanced, but I can make some controls freer and attributes that give the animator a little more freedom
In this case was the animator Yuri Lementy, Animator at Sony … (worked on Sony’s latest film, Hotel Transylvania,  🙂   https://vimeo.com/yurilementy)

A shame that the whole project had little term, from the Concepts made by the staff of Tecnoimage (http://www.technoimage.com.br/) until Furs and Comps .. Including animation and rigging!

But we can do a very cool job. The process was always REMOTE..

AEE olha eu denovo!

Incluindo a animação e rigging!

Mas conseguimos fazer um trabalho muito bacana. O processo rolou redondinho e Remoto.
